The Bendigo Bombers got their season off to a perfect start with a 18.11 (119) to 13.12 (90) win against Tasmania at Windy Hill this afternoon.
Bendigo held a 15 point lead going into the final quarter and withstood a Tasmania challenge to win by almost 5 goals.
A long range goal by Andrew Lovett helped seal the game.
