Essendon today said that there is no truth in media reports that Kyle Reimers was involved in an altercation with an AFL player at a Melbourne venue on Saturday night.

Club chief operating officer, Travis Auld, said he had spoken to the 19-year old Bomber and also the other AFL club mentioned in the media reports, and both confirmed that Reimers had not been involved in any incident.
 
Auld said the two players mentioned in media reports were simply at the same venue at the same time.
 
Essendon will not be making any further comment on this matter.
