Bomber Radio returns to the airwaves of Sport 927 this Sunday night in a new timeslot. You will be able to tune into all the news and views from Windy Hill between 8pm and 9pm every Sunday night. This weekend's show will wrap up events from Optus Oval this Saturday when Essendon takes on West Coast in its penultimate practice match of the 2002 pre-season. We will talk to Daniel McAlister about the importance of season 2002 to him and youngster Andrew Welsh about his first season with Essendon. So tune into Bomber Radio this Sunday night from 8pm on Sport 927.
Essendon had its first skills session for the week at Whitten Oval this afternoon. In windy conditions, the full squad participated in the session including injured forward Matthew Lloyd who ran laps for the majority of training with VFL captain Josh Mahoney. Essendon play West Coast Eagles in a practice match this Saturday at Optus Oval. Coach Kevin Sheedy expects a couple of players who missed last week's game to return, however a few big names will still be missing. ""We get a couple back this week so we will have a fairly good line-up. We've probably got a month to get ourselves right,"" Sheedy said.
