Essendon Football Club wishes to extend its deepest condolences to the Amalfi family following the sad passing of Jim Amalfi, who lost his battle with cancer on Sunday.
Amalfi was a founding member of the Coleman Club coterie group and has been a huge supporter of the club for over 40 years.
Essendon number one ticket holder Bruce Heymanson said Amalfi was a fantastic Essendon person.
“Jim was always very generous, very outgoing and a lovable bloke,” Heymanson said.
“He’s been a great supporter of the club for many decades and provided fruit for the boys for all of those years.”
“He was a real knock about person and a good Essendon person who will be dearly missed.”
