Bendigo Bombers beat Frankston
Jason Laycock and Leroy Jetta were among Bendigo’s best players as the VFL Bombers notched up their second win for the season beating Frankston by three points under lights at Queen Elizabeth Oval last night. Laycock and Jetta were joined in the Bendigo side by fellow Essendon listed player Kyle Reimers, who missed last weekend’s Port Adelaide game, and all three put in pleasing performances to suggest they will be in line for Essendon selection for next Sunday’s game against Sydney.

Bendigo was in front at every break in a tight affair and despite Frankston kicking four final term majors the Bombers were able to hold on to win by less than a kick.
The final score was Bendigo 12.11.83 defeated Frankston 11.14.80.
Bendigo Bombers will this week be boosted by the inclusion of several Essendon players as the VFL side take on Frankston at Queen Elizabeth Oval on Saturday night. After suffering hamstring injuries in the early part of the season Leroy Jetta and Sam Lonergan will play this weekend as they try to regain fitness and touch before coming back into the senior Essendon side.
