Essendon is still to finalise its coaching panel for season 2006. Following the departure of Robert Shaw and Mark Harvey, senior coach Kevin Sheedy has held discussions with a number of potential candidates but is yet to settle on a replacement. Appointments to specialist coaching roles at the club will not be finalised until this position has been filled.
