Essendon Football Club will do all it can to help former Ansett workers maintain their membership with the Bombers. Speaking on last night's edition of Bomber Radio, Essendon chief executive Peter Jackson said the club was well aware of the financial hardships now being faced by former employees of the collapsed airline. ""Given our proximity to the airport it would seem reasonable to assume we have some members who worked with Ansett,"" Jackson said. ""If some of these people are finding it difficult but want to renew their Essendon membership I would ask them to give the club a call and we will see what we can do to help them out.""
