Brace yourself for an emotion-fuelled blockbuster this week as Essendon’s most influential coach Kevin Sheedy, and its greatest living player James Hird, bid farewell to the Bombers when they take on West Coast at Subiaco.

 

Jay Neagle, son of Essendon legend Merv Neagle, will come into the side this week to play his debut AFL match.

 

Kepler Bradley, Mark Bolton, Chris Heffernan, Dustin Fletcher and Damien Peverill also come into the line-up to replace Mark Johnson (omitted), Courtenay Dempsey (hamstring), Kyle Reimers (omitted), Jay Nash (concussion), David Hille (omitted) and Scott Camporeale (knee).
