The Bendigo Bombers will take on Collingwood in their second last home game for the season this weekend.
Bendigo is currently eight on the VFL ladder and Collingwood is sixth. Both teams are looking for a win to secure their place in the 2010 VFL finals series.
Saturday’s match will be played at Strathfielsaye Reserve in Bendigo. The Bomber’s returned to Bendigo two weeks ago after the poor condition of Queen Elizabeth Oval forced them to relocate the majority of their home games for the past two years to Windy Hill.
This weekend’s match comes after Bendigo defeated top placed Williamstown by three points in a thrilling match last week. Flaherty, Carlisle, Collins, Lovett-Murray, Myers and Cloke will all line up again for Bendigo this weekend, after being named in the side’s best in their win over Williamstown.
Jason Winderlich has been declared fit to take on the Blues this Friday night despite having undergone hand surgery early last week. The 25-year-old comes in to replace key position forward Scott Gumbleton who will miss with fractured ribs.
