Essendon will consider appealling the one-match suspension handed out to star full forward Matthew Lloyd at the AFL tribunal tonight. Lloyd was suspended by the AFL tribunal after being found guilty of head-butting Richmond full back Darren Gaspar in the second quarter of last Friday night's Qualifying Final. Lloyd pleaded not guilty to the charge but the tribunal found his actions had constituted a head-butt and suspended him. It is the third time Lloyd has been suspended this season. If the decision isn't overturned, Lloyd will miss next week's Preliminary Final and will only play again this season if the Bombers are successful in that match.
