Five Essendon players have been selected to attend the AFL Players’ Association Indigenous Camp from February 5 to 7 in Alice Springs.

Alwyn Davey, Courtenay Dempsey, Leroy Jetta, Nathan Lovett-Murray and Patrick Ryder will all take part in the three-day camp.

The three-day camp will bring together 60 Indigenous AFL players and include an Indigenous leadership program and community visits.

The camp will culminate in the Indigenous All Stars team to take on Richmond on Friday February 8 at 7pm in Alice Springs with all players on the camp eligible to be selected.

Supported by the Coles AFL Indigenous program, the match will be played at Traeger Park and showcase the Indigenous talent in the AFL.

The Indigenous All Stars will also perform their War Cry before the game commences.

The match between the Indigenous All Stars and Richmond Football Club is proudly supported by the Northern Territory Government.
