For the first time in history, Essendon Football Club will be playing in guernseys which will carry the players’ surnames when the side faces St Kilda on Saturday night.

As part of a wider AFL initiative, all 18 clubs will trial the new-look guernseys across the competition this weekend.

The official player name and number guernseys will be available to purchase exclusively from The Bomber Shop, with the sublimated surname guernseys available in five players – Watson, Fletcher, Goddard, Heppell and Zaharakis.

With thanks to Essendon’s on-field apparel partner adidas, the player fitted and club exclusive guernseys are available to purchase by clicking here. This is also the first opportunity for all Essendon fans to purchase sublimated co-major sponsors Fujitsu and KIA featured on the front and back respectively. The limited edition, player specific fitted guernseys will retail at $149.95 RRP.
