Essendon forward Paul Chapman has been named in the club’s 25-man squad to take on Fremantle at Patersons Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Chapman trained well on Thursday as he showed no sign of a rolled ankle suffered against Carlton last Sunday.

Dustin Fletcher has also been named for the trip West with Kyle Hardingham recovering from a corked calf.

Patrick Ryder has not been named to take on Fremantle as he continues to recover from a sprained ankle suffered against Hawthorn in Round 2.

Dylan Van Unen, Travis Colyer and Leroy Jetta have all been added to the extended squad.

Van Unen would become the club’s fifth debutant this season if he is selected in the final 22.
