Essendon's playing group will meet with coaching, medical and high performance staff over the coming days to review their performance from the 2014 season.

Players will meet with key members of the football department on Tuesday and Wednesday ahead of their end of season break kicking off from Thursday.

General Manager of Football Operations Rob Kerr said the players would have a comprehensive review before heading on their break.

"The boys will have their reviews Tuesday and Wednesday," Kerr said.

"We have structured it so each player will come in to have a chat to the coaching staff, the high performance staff and also the psych, welfare and medical team.

"It will be a reasonably thorough review for them and hopefully it will give them the right program to get them ready for when they come back to commence pre-season.

The meetings are set to form the list changes to be made at the club ahead of the 2015 season.

"There is no real rush with the list lodgements and the like because you get three opportunities to lodge your list," Kerr said.

"We will obviously form our review of the list and season before we make desicions on delistments."

"We obviously have to factor in whether there is any retirements coming and that will become a bit clearer in the next couple of days.

The club's first list lodgement is due at 2pm on October 31 following the trade and free agency period.
