Essendon live wire Jason Winderlich has been offered a reprimand for a level one striking offence against Nick Maxwell during the third quarter of Friday afternoon's loss to Collingwood.
With an early guilty plea Winderlich can accept a reprimand and 70.31 demerit points towards his future record.
The match review panel assessed the incident as reckless conduct (two points), low impact (one point) and high contact (two points).
This is a total of five activation points resulting in a classification of a level one offence, drawing 125 demetir points and a one match sanction.
His existing six year good record reduces the penalty by 25 per cent to a reprimand and 93.75 points with a further reduction for an early guilty plea.
