We held our 141st AGM on Monday night with good news for members and fans:

• John Shaw awarded life membership
• Simon Madden welcomes new recruits
• Paul Little doesn't rule out a Sheedy return

We were deeply saddened by the loss of one of our great players, Jack Harrington. 

Big man Sam Tagliabue is #BackIn for one more year with the Essendon VFL.

A big part of the week was the first ever #DonsChallenge, where the boys were tested physically and mentally in a series of gruelling challenges.

• We met Team Cobra and Team Mongoose 
• Then we watched them run
• Then it was onto the cross training (and a not so happy Irishman) 
• And the aftermath of it all
• It was Team Cobra who took the spoils on the day, much to the pleasure of team captain Joe Daniher

Two of our veterans gave us an update on their pre-seasons so far

• Fletch has been enjoying every second of his record breaking pre-season
• Chappy hasn't ruled out playing on in 2016
