Out of the ordinary
You're used to the usual stats around the game, so we've put together some of the more quirky ones you don't hear.
By the time we run out against the Kangaroos, it will have been 3654 days since we have had won a final. FAR too long if you ask us.
2. The last time that neither Dustin Fletcher or Brent Harvey were involved in a Bombers/Kangaroos clash was Round 12, 1996.
It's hard to imagine the game without either of these two, especially Fletch.
3. We've only played the Kangaroos 14 times since 2002. This is the lowest amount for any two teams (excluding the Suns and Giants).
4. The last time we met in finals, was the qualifying final in 2000.
Lloyd kicked his 100th goal of the season, as we charged to a record score of 198. The highest score in 610 VFL/AFL finals that have been played (no biggie).
5. Bomber has a good record coaching against North.
He coached the Cats to a 106 point win over them in 2007.
6. Ariel Steinberg will run out in a final in only his third game for the club.
Not a bad time to be selected, hey Ariel?
And for all of you who love your numbers, we have played 128 finals scoring a total of 10450 points and having 9574 points scored against us.
