Star midfielder Zach Merrett has led a quintet of Bombers to receive votes in the AFL Coaches Association's AFL Champion Player Award for round two.
The reigning Crichton medallist earned a maximum 10 votes, while half-backs Adam Saad (seven) and Aaron Francis (three), midfielder Andrew McGrath (one) and Kyle Langford (one) rounded out the Essendon contingent.
