Harvey and his wife Donna later met Connolly at the club’s headquarters at Fremantle Oval. The Dockers have made it clear that they are interested in luring Harvey across the Nullabor to join their coaching staff.
""A lot of people I am close to in Melbourne have thought I might have got comfortable having been at Essendon for more than 20 years,"" Harvey said. ""I thought I had to ask myself that question and perhaps it is time that I had a look at things on the other side.""
The Bombers fared well during the trade period securing youngster Richard Cole from the Magpies and they also go into the National Draft with two first round selections. There may be more to come as well with Essendon certain to be active in the pre-season draft. All in all, season 2006 shapes as a sensational year for the club which rarely misses the finals under Kevin Sheedy. Make sure you are a part of it by purchasing a 2006 membership. Game On. Get On.
