The AFL today advised Essendon Football Club that an investigation into alleged undisclosed payments to Jason Johnson and Adam Ramnanauksas was complete. The investigation found that the allegations were unsubstantiated. Essendon chief executive Peter Jackson welcomed the news. ""We were confident that these allegations were completely without foundation and the club is pleased the matter is now closed,"" Jackson said.
