Australian national cricket team captain Tim Paine and Essendon mental skills coach David Reid were the special guests on Working Through It today.
(Scroll below for audio replay and episode guide)
Paine, who started supporting Essendon because of his uncle and former Bomber Robert Shaw, spoke about his connection to the club, what it's like to captain Australia and the values he's embedded into the Test team as it sits atop the world rankings.
Reid, who has been at the Bombers for two seasons, shared insights into the mental game and how the players are adjusting during this challenging period.
As we get through another week without our beloved Bombers in action, club greats Jobe Watson, James Hird, Adam Ramanauskas, Dustin Fletcher, Terry Daniher, Jack Jones, Simon Madden and Mark Harvey also shared what the Essendon Football Club means to them.
Streamed live every Wednesday at 4pm on essendonfc.com.au, the podcast aims to bring the Bombers family together and keep members and fans feeling connected to the club during the AFL lockdown due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
