Essendon VFL will aim to recapture its round-eight form in the remaining seven games of the season beginning this Saturday against North Ballarat.
That June match against Geelong was the Bombers most convincing victory of the season - a 92-point win in the curtain raiser at Etihad Stadium.
“I thought for the whole game we actually produced the way we want to play, and carried it out for those four quarters and got a good result in the end,” Co-Head Coach Paul Corrigan said.
“I think if we take anything out of that game it just goes to show that whether we’re a few goals up or a long way in front we can still play the same way.”
North Ballarat are expected to be a far more formidable opponent than their second-last ladder position suggests, falling five points short of an upset win over Box Hill Hawks last weekend.
Fans are encouraged to come along and support the VFL Dons, playing their first game at Windy Hill in four weeks. Supporters can show their membership cards to permit FREE entry into the ground.
