Essendon’s seven draftees from the national and pre-season draft will join over 100 new draftees from across the league at the 2013 Players’ Induction Camp on Monday.
The camp to be held at Etihad Stadium prepares the players for the rigours and pressures they may face throughouttheir AFL career.
A number of AFL Players Association staff, former players, and industry stakeholders will address a range of issues for players beginning their journey.
Key items for discussion during the camp include resilience, decision-making and communications with the draftees set to participate in interactive workshops.
The future AFL stars will also be introduced to a number of AFL rules, codes and regulations as well as receiving information on the services available to them as part of the AFLPA.
Joe Daniher, Jason Ashby, Martin Gleeson, Dylan Van Unen, Nick Kommer, Sean Gregory and Will Hams will be attending the camp for Essendon.
