Essendon has announced its squad to take on Collingwood this Sunday at the MCG.
Langford, Pears, Browne, Kavanagh, Edwards, Steinberg and Ashby are all potential inclusions for the game.
The club loses Chapman through retirement, Dempsey through suspension and O'Brien and Hibberd through injury.
The final team will be finalised at Friday at 5pm.
