Essendon star Dyson Heppell is looking forward to getting out of his comfort zone when he heads to India with three of the club's other emerging leaders.

David Zaharakis, Joe Daniher and Zach Merrett will join Heppell travelling and embracing all that India has to offer.

The 21-year-old who has previously travelled to India is excited about the upcoming trip.

"I am really looking forward to the India trip and we have a good crew coming along," Heppell said.

"We are all looking forward to getting some different cultural experiences working with the kids over there."

As part of the trip the players will visit the SOS Children's Village in New Dehli and spend time working with AFL India in Kolkata.

Heppell said he was looking forward to being able to help those less fortunate.

"I think being put in different environments out of our comfort zone will be a fantastic experience," he said.

"Being able to help those that are less fortunate and impacting their lives in some way will be very rewarding."

Essendon's Embracing India trip is proudly partnered by Antler Luggage and Travel and Taste.
