Essendon will kick off the 2013 AFL season campaign on Friday night when they face Adelaide at AAMI Stadium.

After a long, interrupted pre-season, the Bombers will be looking forward to getting back out on the park in the search for the four points.

Earlier this morning, coach James Hird confirmed 22-year-old Nick Kommer will make his debut for the red and black tomorrow night after being drafted at pick 73 in the 2012 National Draft.
