Interested in following in the footsteps of the Australian soldiers who once braved Kokoda?

Not for the faint hearted, The Big Bomber Auction is offering one lucky person the opportunity to walk the Kokoda Track in what will be a challenging and life changing experience.

You will retrace the steps of Australian soldiers in Papua New Guinea during one of our most infamous war conflicts. Kokoda was arguably Australia's most significant campaign of the Second World War.

This deeply emotional, nine-day trek includes return economy flights from Brisbane to Port Moresby (thanks to Air Niugini) and leaves on the 28th September.

The 96 km Kokoda trail passes through rugged mountainous country of rainforest, jungles of fern, orchids, birds and clean mountain streams which tumble into steep valleys.

This is your chance to walk to Kokoda trail, so get in quickly and make a bid for it as this item is sure to attract a lot of attention!

The auction ends at 6pm on the 15th of June so make sure you get your bid in early for this amazing experience.

The Essendon Football Club is running The Big Bomber Auction an on-line event for the first time in 2009. The funds raised will be used to underpin the Essendon Football Club community programs.
