The Bomber faithful has rallied behind new club podcast Working Through It, making it (#4X5Pod) Twitter's No.1 trending topic in Australia on Wednesday evening.
Thousands of fans tuned in live via essendonfc.com.au to hear from and interact with club greats James Hird and Jobe Watson and CEO Xavier Campbell, who were also joined by special guests Dr Bruce Reid (long-serving club doctor) and Sean Murphy (head of strength and conditioning).
Below is an audio replay in case you missed it.
Streamed live every Wednesday at 4pm on essendonfc.com.au, the podcast aims to bring the Bombers family together and keep members and fans feeling connected to the club during the AFL lockdown due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Fans will have the chance to ring in and talk directly to the hosts, ask questions about the past, present and future, and also share their stories, challenges, fears, hopes and dreams for our great club.
Stay tuned for next week's episode.
#4x5Pod is just what I need to keep my spirits up. Have to change my work email to read "NA from 4pm Wednesday" to stop the calls coming in at inopportune time and maybe switch on message bank ??

Can't knock back my @essendonfc fix!!!
Listening to the dulcet tones of @JobeWatson is making this isolation thing, pretty damn swell.

Loving #4X5Pod - I so miss the boys (and these two particularly awesome ones!), so it's great to be working from home and listening to this as well.
