The 2020 VFL and VFLW seasons have been postponed until May 31 in response to COVID-19.
The AFL confirmed the decision to postpone all state leagues across the country on Monday evening, saying it was collectively agreed upon based on the part-time nature of the competitions and the financial implications for the clubs and leagues involved.
The League will continue to explore all fixturing alternatives to ensure matches are played, but acknowledges the situation is fluid and any decision made may change.
The Bombers were due to open their VFL and VFLW seasons against Northern Blues (Preston City Oval, April 4) and Geelong (Windy Hill, May 9) respectively.
