More than 600 guests have been treated to a wonderful spectacle at The EFC Network’s first event of 2020.

Held at Crown Palladium on Wednesday, The Season Preview event united the club’s corporate partners, coteries, members, players, coaches, executives and directors, signalling the size and power of the Essendon network.

Launched in January, The EFC Network offers its members the opportunities to grow their business connections with like-minded people and develop their leadership skills from key figures at the Bombers.

More than 25 businesses have already signed up to the network, while there are plenty of opportunities for more businesses to join.

Bombers chief commercial officer Justin Rodski said The Season Preview was a terrific inaugural event for The EFC Network.

“It was a great event and very successful launch of The EFC Network,” Rodski said.

“The EFC Network is about bringing together our corporate clients, commercial partners and coterie groups on one powerful platform.

“The network provides businesses and individuals with the opportunity to generate meaningful connections and introductions, as well as hear from the leaders of the club, both on and off the field.

“Importantly, our coteries will continue to maintain their legacy and culture, but we will also create and capture more value for our members through the network and the events we will run across the year.”

Rodski said The EFC Network would become a key pillar in helping the club reach its commercial goals.

“Developing meaningful corporate connections has always been a core strategic focus of the Essendon Football Club,” he said.

“This new platform will provide an exciting opportunity for businesses to unlock the full potential of what is one of Australia’s most powerful business networks.”

“A big thank you to the Essendon corporate family for their support, particularly the network’s major partners Border Express and Fujitsu Air Conditioning, and its premium partner NEC Australia.

"We are committed to improving the event and the overall experience for our network members, so a survey has been sent to all attendees. We hope this feedback will provide the club with valuable insights to ensure we can evolve and enhance the network format at each event."

The EFC Network will hold its next event on Anzac Day eve, focusing on the property sector.
