The Block star Dale Vine made a visit to the True Value Solar Centre on Tuesday morning to meet some of Essendon's stars.
Currently filming The Block – Fans v Favourites on Channel Nine, Vine briefly stepped away from his renovating duties for a tour with Jason Winderlich and Jake Melksham.
A lifelong Essendon fan, the loveable larrikin who has been a veteran on The Block was presented with his own Bombers guernsey.
“I have been following the club since I was born – I was born into a Bombers family so I have always been a keen supporter,” Vine said.
“Ben Howlett is my favourite player at the moment. I try and get to a few games a year but it would nice if the club came down and played the Cats at Skilled Stadium at some stage.
“My favourite memory would probably be Michael Long's goal in the 1993 Grand Final, my first game was a good memory as well but the club has always given me plenty of good memories.”
The Block’s auction finale will air on Channel Nine next Wednesday night.
