Essendon apparel partner adidas is offering supporters the chance to secure a unique piece of Anzac Day memorabilia while supporting the RSL Foundation.

This year, adidas have again created a special ‘split’ guernsey for the 2010 Anzac Day match. The guernsey features a unique half-Essendon/half-Collingwood design, along with the adidas, Anzac Day and club logos and was so successful in raising funds for the RSL that they have decided to do it again.

The guernsey will be signed by both teams that take the field on 25th April and framed with a commemorative plaque to celebrate the 16th annual encounter.

All proceeds from the auction will go towards the RSL Foundation which provides welfare and other activities in the public interest for the benefit of returned and services personnel and the public generally. It seeks to continue the work of the RSL which was begun by Gallipoli veterans in 1916.

The auction will be open until 6pm on Monday 26 April.
