Essendon ruckman Shaun McKernan has been nominated for the 'Weet-Bix Mark of the Year' for the above effort against the Gold Coast Suns in round 21.
The mark caps off what was an impressive game for the big man who gathered 24 disposals, nine marks, 26 hit outs, three goals and five clearances for the day.

Interim coach Matthew Egan was full of praise for McKernan's first game back after a few weeks playing with Essendon VFL.
"He was fantastic," said Egan
“His follow up, around the ground stuff and really jumping at his marks – we like players when they think they can win the ball, they go for it.”
