Essendon coach James Hird is excited about the Bombers remaining six games of the season despite what looms as a difficult run home.
The Bombers are set to kick off a challenging run home when they take on Hawthorn at Etihad Stadium on Friday night.
Hird has encouraged his team to embrace the challenge that confronts them.

“We have a good win/loss record as we standat round seventeen but we are still going to play some of the best teams in thecompetition.
“Ithink it is very exciting rather than daunting.”
