List and Recruiting Manager, Adrian Dodoro, said the Club could further strengthen its draft position before the end of the Trade Period which closes at 2.00pm tomorrow.

The Club currently holds four picks inside the top 25 (4, 5, 24, 25), including two top ten selections following Wednesday’s three-way way deal with Sydney and St Kilda.

Rival Clubs have enquired about potential deals which could involve current and future picks, with Dodoro indicating he was open to the idea.

“Four picks inside 25 is a good result for us and there is still another 24 hours of trading to go so you never know what could happen,” Dodoro said.

“We’re open-minded, if we can improve out draft position great, if we can improve our draft position next year that would be great also.”

“This is going to be a two year evolution of adjusting our list under a new coach, so picks next year are just as valuable as this year.”

The Club currently holds picks 4, 5, 24, 25, 57, 80, 98 and 116.
