AFL Anti Doping Tribunal Chairman David Jones has released the following statement following day nine of proceedings.
The Australian Football League Anti-Doping Tribunal resumed its hearing today relating to the cases of past and present Essendon Football Club players and a former employee of the Essendon FC who have been issued with Infraction Notices.
The Tribunal today heard further evidence from a two medical specialists, one called by Mr Holmes QC on behalf of ASADA, and the other called by Mr David Grace QC on behalf of the players. The medical specialists gave evidence in relation to a number of substances which are the subject matter of the Infraction Notices.
The hearing will resume tomorrow where further submissions will be heard as to the admissibility of certain evidence to be considered by the Tribunal.
