David Myers

Myers was back to his best on the weekend. In his second consecutive game since overcoming a minor knee complaint the super-boot didn’t miss a beat. Myers was best on ground as he racked up 29 disposals, including four marks, six tackles and five inside 50s. James Hird has already indicated he’s keen to get the 26 year old back in the side because of his experience and strong body.

Elliott Kavanagh

It was a ‘complete’ performance from Kavanagh on the weekend, according to VFL Coach Paul Corrigan. Kavanagh was influential with 23 possessions, including eight marks and eight tackles. Having played AFL most recently in Round 14, Kavanagh will be eager to prove his worth at the top level again if given an opportunity against the Crows on Saturday.

Alex Browne

After missing out on the senior side, Browne was back in form in the VFL. In turn, Browne has put his hand up for selection this week. The 23-year-old was impressive on Sunday, taking a massive 11 marks alongside his 22 disposals and three inside 50s. The crafty utility would be a handy addition in the side to face the Crows this weekend.

Jake Melksham

Melksham was solid in the VFL on Sunday - his first outing at that level this season. The midfielder gathered 19 possessions, including six marks, and booted a goal. Melksham will be keen to push back into the senior side with four games remaining and finish the year on a positive note.
