Essendon Travel will be operating supporter packages for all interstate Essendon games in season 2002, as well as for interstaters wanting to attend Essendon games in Melbourne at Colonial Stadium or the MCG. Essendon play five interstate games during the 2002 home and away season. Two of these matches are very boig occasions. The Bomber's round three Grand Final replay with Brisbane is also Kevin Sheedy's 500th as Essendon coach. And in round nine the Bombers take on the Swans in the first ever game to be played at Stadium Australia.

Congratulations to Elizabeth Bailey of Eaglemont in Victoria for winning the Summer Edition of the Bomber Barons competition. Elizabeth wins a framed Essendon Football club guernsey signed by the team. Elizabeth managed to get a perfect score in the shortest time of all the correct entries in the bumper Bomber trivia quiz. There were only two entries that managed to get the perfect score of 21, 024 points for the Summer Bomber Barons competition.
