Brent Stanton’s 2015 demonstrated why the veteran midfielder is valued so highly at the club.

The 29-year old turned back the clock, with his experience proving invaluable on and off the field.

Stanton played all 22 matches in the season, averaging 26.2 disposals at an impressive 73.7%.

Although there were a number of impressive games, Stanton capped off the season with a best on ground  performance in round 23 collecting 30 disposals and booting three goals in a win against the Magpies.

A hard working player since being drafted in 2003, Stanton proved an overwhelming ability to win the ball during the season collecting 30 plus disposals in eight games.

Taken at number 13 in the 2003 national draft, the midfielder quickly rose to prominence in the 2004 season, cementing his position in the team.

Although Stanton has come close to winning the Crichton Medal on several occasions in his career, he is yet to win the award.
