Things are ramping up off the training track as well at the Bombers.

The team will head to Healesville on Monday as part of a team bonding camp.

Lasting for three days, the camp will be used for training as well as giving the entire group a chance to set out goals and expectations for the upcoming season.

The meeting will also be used to vote on leadership roles at the Club going forward.

External speculation has been growing as to whether Jobe Watson will retain the captaincy, with many believing that the 30-year-old will hand over the role to Dyson Heppell.

“We’ll review that all next week, but Jobe’s been a great leader for the last seven years at this footy club,” said midfielder David Zaharakis when questioned about the captaincy

“The whole time I’ve been here he has been my captain and he has been great.

"Whether he wants it is up to him and whether we vote him in is up to the players so that'll go through next week.”

The boys will finish off the bonding camp with an open training session on Wednesday. You can find all the details here
