As always there is never a dull moment at the club, here’s the most important news from the week.

A few big pieces of news when it came to our injury list this week, the biggest being the loss of captain Jobe Watson for the rest of the 2015 season after he underwent surgery on his injured shoulder.

After making his return for Essendon VFL last weekend, David Myers will unfortunately be spending some additional time on the sideline with a slight knee injury.

Adam Cooney will also miss a few weeks with a hamstring injury. In better news, however, Paul Chapman is slowly building towards a return and Heath Hocking is likely to be available within the coming weeks.

Inspirational past player Adam Ramanauskas returned to the club to help us launch the 10th Annual Clash for Cancer match.

Club legend Kevin Sheedy threw his support behind coach James Hird after he came under intense scrutiny throughout the week.

We were able to honour a very important man at our club, Bruce Heymanson, through the opening of the Heymanson Player Lounge.

2014 draftee Jayden Laverde made his long-awaited debut against the Demons on Saturday. We were able to catch up with him before hand.

The Bombers finally returned to the winners’ list after a spirited performance from our ‘Baby Bombers’ against the Demons in Round 15.
