A season highlighted by record membership and impressive attendance rates has been rounded out with a special prize for a significant landmark.
Vanessa was the one-millionth fan to pass through the turnstiles at a Bombers game in 2017.
The landmark moment occurred during the Club’s win over Fremantle in round 23.
The victory secured a finals spot and also marked the last home game for a number of Essendon stars.
Vanessa has been an Essendon member for 33 straight years and didn’t miss a match in Victoria this season.
She was presented with a signed, match worn Dyson Heppell guernsey at the Club.
Essendon posted a record membership total of 67,768 in 2017 averaged 50,821 fans at its home games.
