Essendon VFL features in the match-of-the-round this Sunday when it faces Footscray Bulldogs at Whitten Oval.
The match will be broadcast LIVE on Chanel Seven from 11.30am.
“They’ve been travelling really well and they’re a quality side,” VFL Co-Coach Paul Corrigan said.
“They’ve got some real quality players right across the whole team.”
It’s set to be a critical game for the Bombers who are clinging onto fourth position on the ladder.
A win will be vital to consolidating Essendon VFL’s position in the top four and securing an all-important double chance in the finals.
Footscray, last year’s premiers, sit a game behind the Bombers in sixth position.
Ironically the draw will see Essendon VFL play Footscray twice in the final five games of the season.
