Essendon VFL has selected its extended squad for Saturday’s Beyond Blue round six clash with Casey.
Senior-listed Bombers Jordan Ridley, Kyle Langford and Ben McNiece have been named to return to Windy Hill.
Exciting speedster Irving Mosquito will start on the half-forward flank, with round five debutant Liam Read replacing the injured Sam Draper in the ruck.
Wilson Berry, Liam McKenna and Josh Tynan sit on the extended bench, while Daniel Guccione, Bruno Laguda and Ben Fennell could potentially play their first VFL games for 2019.
Dylan Landt is the 23rd player for the third consecutive week.
The Bombers will look to continue their four-game winning streak on Saturday, May 11 from 2pm at Windy Hill.
The final team will be announced before the first bounce.
Match updates will be available through the Essendon VFL twitter account, with the game streamed live on vfl.com.au.
Essendon VFLW will play its season opener against Casey from 11:30am, acting as a curtain raiser.
The VFL & VFLW President’s Luncheon will also be held from 11am, with limited tickets still available.
To help make mental health part of everyday conversations, Essendon VFL will wear Beyond Blue strapping tape during Saturday’s match.
