What have you done to address Matthew Lloyd’s poor kicking last weekend? Maddalena Galli.

MH: We don’t believe it is a technique thing. Perhaps he was just getting used to the conditions of the MCG because we haven’t played there this year and the configuration is a little different given the re-development. He has done a lot of goal kicking practice this week – all from set shots and all from areas similar to that where he missed from last week.

Do you think Adam McPhee could play in the midfield? Rachel Cormick.

MH: Absolutely. He has the fitness and strength to play in the midfield and I really think that will be where he will play a lot of his football. He has a bit of height – he might end up a bit of an Adam Simpson type from the Kangaroos.

Why do we consistently lack crumbing players at the fall of the ball up forward? Dean Cole.

It is an area we have been working on and we have been looking to introduce some players who can address that problem. Players like Brent Stanton and Nathan Lovett-Murray who kicked five goals between them last week. Players like Jason Winderlich and Brent Stanton could do a similar job.

Will Ricky Dyson play on Anzac Day? Neela Patel.

MH: He certainly will and he has earned his place with a couple of promising performances. He has had an impact for us across the centre line and up forward. Pending his development and good form, he is certainly placing some pressure on some other players.

Why was Nathan Lovett-Murray initially left out of the Essendon side and did his performance confirm it was the wrong decision? Chris Cleary.

MH: It was a tough call to leave him out and he certainly gave us something to think about with his performance. He was very good against Carlton and like Ricky Dyson has earned the chance to play on Anzac Day. He will only get better with experience.
