Essendon coach John Worsfold has signed on with the Bombers and there are plenty of reasons why you should too.

“The players really understand how they want to play together and also understand that they didn’t execute it perfectly tonight,” Worsfold said post-game.

“But because they stuck at it, it eventually turned for us and we got the win we were looking for.

“(There were) a lot of nervous people before the game – coaching staff, fitness staff, players – but we know we’ve done the work and we’ve earned the win, so bring on round two.”
