BOMBERS HEAD TO 'HEARTBREAK HILL'
Essendon players today head to the CFA camp at Fiskville (near Ballarat) for a day of team bonding to wind up their pre-season camp for 2002. And the players have some drills to look forward and others which may not be quite as much fun. The arduous run up heartbreak hill probably fits into the latter category while rescuing an effigy of Bomber coach Kevin Sheedy from a burning tower is certain to prove a bit more interesting. The players will wear protective clothing and helmets during the drills for safety reasons. Keep an eye out for photos of the day in the next Bomber Magazine.
