Four players will come into the squad for Sunday’s game against the GWS Giants.

Michael Hartley, Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti, Jason Ashby and Shaun McKernan have all been included while youngster Kyle Langford has been omitted.

At this stage, Hartley, is the only confirmed inclusion – with the defender set to make his important return.

Hartley quickly became a crucial part of the Essendon backline in the opening rounds of the season, nullifying some of the best opposition forwards in the competition.

Walla will also be a welcome return to the Bomber’s defensive mix.

The exciting defender was rested last week against the Hawks, with Coaches keen to manage his workload after his blistering start to the season.

After a series of impressive performances for Essendon VFL, Jason Ashby will be hoping to run out in his first game for 2016.

The nimble defender produced one of his best games of the season last week against Sandringham, where he collected 25-disposals and was crucial in setting up the play off the half-back line.

This week also marks an important milestone for youngster Zach Merrett, who will run out in his 50th game for the Club.

You’ll be able to hear more from Zach Merrett in Episode 13 of Bomber Radio.

Merrett has quickly become an integral part of the team’s midfield able to consistently produce high quality performances.

The full team will be confirmed Friday at 5pm.

There is plenty happening this 'Skeeta Sunday', so make sure you check out all the activities that we have planned.
