Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti was moved into attack to start the final term, but it was the Bombers other small forward Orazio Fantasia who started the scoring.  He's kicked 29 goals this season to accompany his Rising Star nomination.

Essendon is continuing to use Mitch Brown as the swingman.  He's spent most of the day in attack, but started the last term in defence.  The former Cat had taken 11 marks by early in the last term.

The Bombers had 52 disposals to the Dogs 27 to start the last quarter.  The Dons kicked two goals to nil in that period.

The Dons were able to control possession in the final term as evidenced by the marking differential.  The Dons had taken 30 marks to eight with three minutes left in the quarter.

Zach Merrett (35), Mathew Stokes (31) and David Zaharakis (31) were the leading ball winners, as the Dogs got home by 40 points.
