Essendon fans are invited to attend ‘Debutants of 2016 – a special thank you to our additional recruits’.

It provides a chance to personally thank the ten players who landed at the Club on the eve of the season and have gone on to have a significant impact on and off the field.

The guidance they have provided will hold the Club in good stead for many years to come.

All ten will be in attendance, alongside coaches John Worsfold, Matthew Egan and Mark Neeld, and the eight debutants from the draft and trade periods (Darcy Parish, Mitch Brown, Aaron Francis, Craig Bird, Michael Hartley, Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti, Matthew Leuenberger, Mason Redman).

The class of 2016 came from different backgrounds, but this season they shared a common purpose; making Essendon better.

With the resilience and improvement the team has shown, it’s clear their hard work has paid off.

Celebrate their contribution to the Club on Thursday 11th August at Morgans on Collins, in Melbourne.

Tickets are $85 for Dick Reynolds Club members and $100 for non-members.
